At DT Tuning & Development Ltd, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. We strive to deliver high-quality tuning files, software, and hardware products. This policy outlines how refunds and returns are handled for different types of purchases.
 
 
Overview
 
Our policy covers two categories of products:
• Digital items such as tuning files and software.
• Physical items such as diagnostic tools, cables, and accessories.
 
Different terms apply to each due to the nature of these products.
 
 
Digital Products (Tuning Files, Software & Calibrations)
 
Once a digital product (such as a tuning file, calibration, or software activation) has been delivered, it cannot be refunded or exchanged.
 
This is because:
• Digital files cannot be “returned” once downloaded or accessed.
• Every tuning file is custom-developed for the customer’s vehicle or request.
 
However, we stand by the quality of our work and offer technical support and file revisions to ensure your satisfaction.

Physical Products (Tools, Cables & Accessories)
 
If you purchase a physical item from our store (e.g. Magic Motorsport, Alientech, Autotuner, or related accessories), the following terms apply:
 
Damaged or Faulty Items
 
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described:
• Contact us within 14 days of delivery.
• Provide your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.
• We will review the case and arrange a replacement or refund if eligible.
 
Returns (Change of Mind)
 
If you change your mind or order the wrong item:
• You may return it within 14 days of receipt, provided it is unused and in its original packaging.
• The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
• Refunds will be processed once the item is received and inspected.
 
Non-Returnable Items
 
We cannot accept returns for:
• Used, installed, or activated electronic devices
• Items damaged due to misuse or incorrect installation
• Software activation codes, licences, or digital keys.
 
 
Refund Process
 
Once your return is approved:
1. You’ll receive confirmation via email.
2. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
3. If a replacement is chosen instead, tracking details will be provided once dispatched.
 
 
Shipping Costs
• Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item was faulty or sent in error.
• If returning a high-value item, we recommend using a tracked or insured courier service.
